Playing with Friendster

Well, I was looking through my e-mail of the last day and I noticed that I had a few friendster requests. I accepted them and thought i'd look around at some of the stuff there. It was amusing because in a few cases, it said, "If you're really friends with <some-person> then you can provide their full name and/or e-mail". At which point, I went somewhere else. I'm not going to give friendster any information that it doesn't already have other than the connections that exist between people. If it wants a name and/or e-mail address, it's going to have to ask the appropriate people. Some programmer's software…
It was also amusing that it only possible to have ten friend requests at a time. I suppose this is a good idea to keep from being overwhelmed with people trying to crash the software. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a paid option that allowed you to add unlimited friends.

So, if anyone gets a friendster request from Darren Stalder, <friendster at wolfieboy.org>, you can guess who it is...
