I'm catching up on reading all the Short Story and Novella Hugo Award winners. Earlier today, I read Press Enter ▊ by John Varley. All of John Varley's stuff is good and all of it is a bit off. His stuff has affected me oddly before. Unfortunately, this time, how it is affecting me is not letting me sleep. The entire story is disturbing but it's actually something that happens to our female lead that is really keeping me awake. I'm off to see if I can do things to get me sleep. Chilling out with Sarah McLachlan might help.
