There's a song that I didn't really need to hear today. Namely, Cat's in the Cradle by Sandy & Harry Chapin. That song has meaning for many, many people including my dad and I. He couldn't always be there since sometimes he had to be elsewhere for the Army. It's just the nature of military life. The thing is, I really did end up a lot like him and that's a really good thing. I'm rather proud that I did.
While looking for the lyrics to the song, I also found the background to the song. Also, Darryl McDaniels (of Run-DMC) also recorded a version of the song with Sarah McLachlan doing some of the vocals. I'll have to find a copy of that.
