Posting vs. commenting

So, this seems to give a good example of why I seem to favor commenting over posting, at least at work. Commenting takes less time to do and requires less focus because I'm riffing off of someone else's ideas. In posting, I have to formulate the ideas, keep them formed, turn them into english, link them all together and make sure there aren't unintentional meanings in the things I'm saying. So, it takes significantly more effort and I'm apt to be interrupted at any time.

This is really just a pondering as opposed to a fully formed thesis.
