  • Mood:

Annoyed with lj_dev

I attempted to post the following question on lj_dev and evidently, it's queued: "Is there any way to find out what my current mood icon set is after I've logged in or will I have to parse it out of the modify.bml page?"
How do I know that it's queued? Well, it didn't show up and I thought I had somehow not posted it. So, I wrote it again and was told "Maximum queued entries for this user has been exceeded." or some such. I can understand queuing a post to lj_dev since there has been times in the past when lj_dev has been flooded with people asking user level questions and the dev questions were getting lost in the flood. But I would expect that somewhere on the userinfo page there would be some note about posts being queued. Nope. It says We welcome all developers to participate and discuss. and This community allows posting by all members, so you now have access to post in it. Okay. Maybe there might be something in Memories but there is nothing there either.

I'll probably file a bug against this after I've done other house things.

Update: Of course, now that I've posted this, it does show up. Still, there should be some documentation of this behaviour
